INSTALLATION GUIDE: NEXT-GEN RANGER HEADLIGHT TINT COVERS

Thank you for your order from MotoVibe! Because these tint covers are precision-cut to match the Next-Gen "C-Clamp" headlight design, you must use the Wet Method described below. This allows you to slide the tint into the perfect position before the adhesive sets.

PREPARATION

The headlight lenses must be 100% clean. Wash them thoroughly to remove dirt, road grime, and bugs. Dry them, and give them a final wipe down with rubbing alcohol. If there is any wax, polish, or ceramic coating on the lights, the tint will not stick.

INSTALLATION STEPS (WET METHOD)

1. Mix Your Spray Solution Fill a clean spray bottle with water and add just one single drop of dish soap (like Sunlight). Shake it up. Do not use too much soap, or the tint will slide too much and won't bond.

2. Spray the Headlight Generously spray the outside of the headlight lens with your soapy water mix.

3. Peel the Backing Liner & Spray Carefully peel away the clear backing liner to expose the sticky side of the tint. Pro Tip: As you peel it, generously spray the sticky side of the tint with your water mix. This stops it from sticking to itself.

4. Align on the Lens Place the wet tint onto the wet headlight. Because both surfaces are wet, you can easily slide the film around. Line it up perfectly with the edges of the C-clamp light housing.

5. Squeegee the Water Out Once it is perfectly lined up, hold it firmly in place with one hand. Use a credit card or squeegee to firmly push the water out from underneath. Work from the center of the tint outward to the edges.

6. Remove the Front Protective Plastic Once all the water is pushed out and the tint is locked into position, carefully peel off the thin protective plastic layer from the front face of the tint. This will reveal the final, clean finish.

PRO TIP: If the curved edges are struggling to lay flat, use a hairdryer on a low/warm heat setting (never hot!) for a few seconds. The heat softens the tint film, allowing you to easily mold and press the edges down smoothly with your thumb.
